Welcome to The Austin Alchemist Want Ads! 

For our community – by our community!

For a short time, The Austin Alchemist is offering a full-page ad in our local body/mind/spirit/holistic wants ads section for our readership in the Austin, San Antonio, and Central Texas area.

You must be local to be included in our advertising listings, meaning you live here or have a work address locally. The cost is $12/week.

Unlike our directory ads, our want ads space allows local practitioners to advertise their specials, local businesses to feature new products and our readers to sell their body-mind-spirit-holistic related used items to another enthusiast.

Your want ad listing includes 2-4 photos, your contact info, a description of your product/offer, and is shared with our social media channels.

Just fill in the form below and I’ll have your listing up within a couple of weeks, though I often can complete your order within a week (depending on current demand). Please provide as much information as you can about your want ad. (All listings must be approved; we will not accept listings for anything illegal or prohibited in the United States, the state of Texas or on Facebook. See rules below.*)

Please remember that listings are approved individually and may take a while to publish. Each listing requires time to put together.  Submissions received on holidays or over the weekend will generally be reviewed on the following business day.

* These rules for want ads are not exhaustive and can change at any time. Ads must be related to the body/mind/spirit/holistic niche and be for services and things located within our coverage area. We do not accept listings for animals, body parts, CBD products, used remedies, medications, alcohol, firearms, dating, anything that is considered offensive or prohibited on Facebook, plagiarized work, and probably several other things. Applications are screened and your submission is not a guarantee of acceptance. If we cannot accept your ad, you will receive a refund of your PayPal payment.

Weekly Want Ad

This form is for want ads only.

  • Please include your full address for our records. This field is required to submit this order form. However, we will not include your address in your want ad, unless you include it in your ad description.
  • Use this space for a brief title for your want ad, as you would prefer it to appear on our site. This is also what Google looks at during search, so consider this title carefully and use words that people search for. No special characters or all caps (they will be removed). While we do not charge a fee per word, we do limit you to four focused products/offers per listing; your title should be 55 characters or less.
  • Where is the offer/product located? I.e. Austin, Round Rock, Leander, San Antonio, Waco, etc..
  • This section describes your product/offer and acts as the main body of text in your ad. This section should be detailed enough, but not too long. No videos. NO ALL CAPS. ;) Also please do not cut and paste text from your website. Google tends to penalize this as "plagiarism."
  • Use this section to give me some keywords for your ad.
  • If you have a discount code or special offer specific to readers of The Austin Alchemist, please include it here. Include any special instructions here.
  • I.e. a contact name, phone number, email address, and/or web page where our readers can follow up on your offer. Please be complete.
  • Please include a picture for your want ad here. Image needs to be at least 300px wide and no wider than 1000px. Maximum file size is 300MB. PLEASE DO NOT submit flyers, banners or images with lots of text in them.

  • We cannot host fliers or large images. But you are welcome to include a link to your flier, hosted somewhere else, and we will include it in your listing under the "for more information" section.
  • It is best to submit your order 2 weeks in advance. However, we do accept same week submissions before noon Saturday. We need enough time to build your listing and cannot guarantee late submissions.
  • This is an optional space for you to include extra information that I might need for your order - information that might not be covered by the fields above. Things like special circumstances for running your ad on specific dates, etc.. I.e. "I want to pay for my order now, but have my ad run 3 weeks from now because I'm on my way out of town..." Or "I want to run this ad on the 1st Thursday of every month for the next 6 months," etc.. Put all these types of details here for me. I may call you if I have questions.
  • Leave the box checked above if you would like to receive our weekly email news feed. It comes out every Thursday morning, just in time for the weekend!
  • Please include the number of weeks you would like us to promote your ad in the Quantity field below. Your total will be calculated automatically.
