Tourmaline – Soul Deepening and Playful Things

The love I have for Crystals is so very immense and with a New Year, and lots of new projects, I am going to step into my 2013 shoes and tell you about a new favorite stone which has led to a full on love affair. The stone? Tourmaline. Mine is round, mostly white, with almost these ‘strings’ of black flecks throughout the stone. The energy of this stone caused my hands an intense amount of warmth and with that much energy coming from it, I knew I had to learn more.
This gorgeous Crystal is amazing for clearing out unwanted negativity and thoughts that are no longer serving us and instead, a gift we receive back, is a feeling of power and a strong sense of self. Negativity crowding your life? This Crystal repels it – it is naturally that way once you charge and make it ‘yours’, you never have to program it to repel, as that is the main ‘built-in’ feature of the stone. Carry with you in times of great stress and use the stone’s protection as we go through our days. Eradicating the old habits of negativity will make you lighter and also, leave you plenty of room for a lot of positivity.
Tourmaline also aids tremendously in the understanding of yourself and others. For such a deep, soul moving crystal, it certainly has it’s time for playfulness. Attracting prosperity, tolerance and compassion, it has also been known to get your Muse’s attention out and you are easily inspired to create and to do for close loved ones.
Physically, it also assists when you are getting a spinal manipulation as it’s energy naturally releases tension. There is also a part of the stone that balances both the female and male sides of all of us. It is very useful in assisting with bouts of paranoia, can give the push needed to overcome dyslexia, and greatly improves your eye-hand coordination. A natural energy enhancer, it is also able to remove blockages, even some once thought as long gone.
If you would like to remove a blockage, simply take the stone in your right hand, and place your left hand over it, cupping the stone. Close your eyes and concentrate on what you are trying to release, what blockage has you stuck right now, what is making you feel as though you are not in your power? Continuous times such as these, as with any Crystal you find you work with and get to know better and better, you will notice the difference in the energy of this one compared to a Rose Quartz. Both similar, but both very different. And once you have felt this emotion from your stones, you know you have made friends for life.
For a New Year, we all go into a period of growth and the like and sometimes things that once felt right, absolutely downright perfect, ended up being very wrong for you. That is okay. That is life. This stone, with all of it’s properties and the way it is depicted so often as one you go to for deep soul work, is a must for any one, but particularly if you need to step into your own power.
Take with you the knowledge that your physical vitality, your emotional stability and your intellectual acuity are all vastly improved by one of my best friends, the Black and White Tourmaline.
