Application for Practitioner or Business Directory Listing

The Austin Alchemist offers a dedicated page in our local Practitioner and Business Directory, tailored specifically for conscious-living, body, mind, spirit, green, and holistic practitioners and businesses in the Austin and Central Texas area.

This full-page listing is a powerful way to connect with our engaged, holistic community and includes:

  • Your photo or logo.
  • Complete contact information.
  • A link to your website.
  • A description of your offerings.
  • Placement under three related categories of your choice.

Cost: $69 for the first year, then $29 annually to host and maintain your page.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for our directory:

  • You must live or work locally in Central Texas (Waco/Austin/San Antonio).
  • Your business or practice must be described as holistic, green, conscious-living, spiritual, or metaphysical.
  • Local musicians, authors, and artists in the above fields are welcome!

Listings are approved individually to ensure quality and relevance. Submissions made on holidays or weekends will be reviewed on the next business day.

How It Works

  1. Fill Out the Application Form Below
    Provide as much detail as possible about your business and/or services (the more, the better!).

    • Include a recent photo of yourself, your logo, or the front of your business. (You must own the copyright license to the image supplied.)
    • Your name or business name will be used as the title of your listing.
  2. Select Your Categories
    Visit our Directory Listings Page to choose up to three categories for your listing. While we strive to keep categories streamlined for easier navigation, you can suggest a new category in the form’s comments section if necessary.
  3. Submit Your Payment
    After submitting the form, you’ll be redirected to PayPal to complete your payment.
  4. Approval and Publication
    Listings are typically published within one to two weeks (often sooner). Each listing requires individual attention to ensure accuracy and quality.

Important Notes

  • Local Focus: We only accept listings from practitioners and businesses with a local presence.
  • Holistic Fields Only: We exclusively list businesses and services that align with body, mind, spirit, green, conscious-living, and holistic interests.
  • Processing Time: Submissions are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications submitted during weekends or holidays will be reviewed the following week.

Please complete the form below with as much information as possible. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

  • Please enter your company or practice name as you would like it to be listed on our site.
  • This is the heart of your listing. Please include details to help our readers get to know you and your practice or business. Please note: Your entry should be unique. We cannot accept descriptions that are copied from other websites.
  • Usually 3-4 max.
  • Have you been interviewed on TV, in the newspaper, a magazine, participated in a podcast or taken calls on a radio show? Share with us your favorite online links to these resources. (Must be a news source, not a link to your own content.) In cases where there aren't links available, please provide a citation including publication, issue, date, title, etc. where we can find it.
  • Brief "elevator" intro to your business and/or services.
  • This helps me with the social media features we do for your listing.
  • Are you on social media like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter or Google+? If so, please share your links here. (Actual links - please don't expect me to search for them.)
  • Square or portrait oriented images only please. Image needs to be at least 200px wide and can have only a little text. Please Note: *No pdf fliers, banners or landscape images.* These are too wide to fit on our website and we will not accept or store them.
    Accepted file types: jpg, gif, png, Max. file size: 300 MB.
  • This is an optional space for you to include extra information that I might need for your order - information that might not be covered by the fields above. Things like special circumstances for running your ad on specific dates, etc.. I.e. "I want to pay for my order now, but have my ad run 3 weeks from now because I'm on my way out of town..." Or "I want to run this ad on the 1st Thursday of every month for the next 6 months," etc.. Put all these types of details here for me. I may call you if I have questions. (Note: we can re-feature your directory page in our newsletter more than just once a year. Just contact me for details.)
  • The Practitioner and Business Pages are $69 to build and host for the first year and then $29 to host each year thereafter.
  • This $29 Annual Hosting Fee will be auto-billed each year on the same date until you cancel. This fee is waived for your 1st year and the discount is reflected on your first PayPal invoice.
