Elemental Alchemy – Painting with Fire!

Sunday August 12th, 2012. Class is facilitated by local shamanic practitioner and artist, Kay Anderson.

A lot of people say they aren’t artistic. This energetic art class is not about creating beautiful pictures, although that is a lovely natural consequence of the process.

This class will teach you a technique to silence the inner critic and get in touch with the creative inner you. We will use either guided meditations and/or shamanic journeying techniques to call forth the energies Spirit wants us to paint. You will be the vessel; your Spirit Guides (even if you haven’t met them yet) will give you EVERYTHING you need, down to the paint colors.

You practice getting out of your own way so that you can surrender to the creative process. We always do two separate projects that are balanced in energy – something you want to surrender and something you want to call forth into your life. All four elements will be incorporated into your projects, and both pieces will be forged with fire after completion in a ceremony to honor the energy.

There will be time afterward to process the experience with the other participants if you desire. Since we will be using fire to fuse the elements together, you must be over 18.
