Monday Through Friday – July 18-22, 2011 – Kids ages 9-12.
Campers will perform for each other and do improvisation, role-play and socialize, and brush up on their etiquette! This camp has a proven track record of helping kids open up their self-expression, improve social and communication skills and learn to embrace a healthy self-concept. In the process of acquiring these tools, kids gain confidence and learn to be happy in their own skin! The camp concludes on Friday with a short performance (and juice) called “Poetry and Punch.”
Instructor, Kathryn J. Hume, has a B.A. in Performing Arts and Education and has owned and operated Express Yourself Academy since 1978. She is soon to unveil a training program for educators and parents who want to teach these confidence-building skills, complete with entertaining video instruction by colorful characters!
