Intentional Art Making with Liz Aguilar – Saturday March 24th, 2012
For centuries, other cultures have recorded symbols, mantras or prayerful requests on small pieces of fabric and hung them outdoors. It is believed that as they flutter in the wind, they purify and sweeten the air with the intended blessings sent into the world.
Intentional Art Making is similar to doing a VISION BOARD. The prayer flag serves as an instrument for the wishes you will be casting into the wind.
Liz Aguilar, Artist and Facilitator will guide you through meditation and the creative process.
Prayer flags can be given as gifts or used to decorate your home or altar space, especially during this Season of Peace – honoring Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi.
