‘The Gnostic Gospels: The Mystical Origins of Christianity’
Join author Randy Davila, author of The Gnostic Mystery and CEO of Hampton Roads Publishing Company, for an informative lecture on The Gnostic Gospels: The Mystical Origins of Christianity.
“The history of Christianity is far different from what most people believe,” says Davila. Davila argues that the Catholic Church expelled the Gnostics and labeled their writings as heretical. “If the Gnostics had prevailed instead of the Catholics, Christianity, and the world, would look far different than it does today.”
Randy Davila graduated with distinction from the Department of Classics, Philosophy, and Religion at the University of Mary Washington in Virginia, where he co-founded and wrote for the award-winning publication The Free Press. Davila is also the CEO of Hampton Roads Publishing Company. He lives in Boerne, Texas.
