Austin Dates: Thursday – April 7th and Sunday – April 17th, 2011
Join ‘Tata’ Apolinario Chile Pixtun, a Guatamalan Elder, keeper of the Sacred Mayan Calendar/Time and Indigenous Spiritual Guide, as (through an interpreter) he shares his time honored vision and wisdom.
What do we have to learn from Ancestral wisdom for achieving Inner peace and forgiveness – for the world, the heart of the Heavens and the heart of our Mother Earth? In this time of great economic, political, and spiritual change the world over, learn directly from one of the last remaining traditional wisdom keepers.
In his 2012 presentations,Tata will share his deep wisdom and will focus on exploring the authentic Sacred Mayan Calendar of our ancestors in N. America – demystifying 2012.
It will be a time to look deeply at our place in the cosmos, and come to terms with the challenges ahead for all mankind. It will be a time to ask our questions, and put our fears to rest, that we may come to welcome the coming of 2012, in joy and celebration.
Mayan Sacred Circle Fire Ceremonys – from the ancient practices of the ‘prayermakers’ of Mesoamerica. The rituals are held in honor of Mother Earth, and to celebrate our reverence for the bounty that earth provides. Participants bring personal offerings of incense, fruit, food and flowers to leave in the sacred circle as we each reflect deeply upon our place in the cosmos and share our hearts in word, music, dance and song. Join us to give thanks and grateful blessing for She who sustains us body and soul.
