Art, Family Yoga and Interactive Drumming

We’d like to invite you to join us for a day of crafts and music at the Amala Foundation to help raise awareness of Amplify Austin. There is no charge for the event. For kids of all ages!

The day will include
10am – 12am – Craft Making with Lisa Winnigham and the Young Artists in Service
10:30-11:45am – Family friendly Yoga
12:30 – 1:30 – X8 Interactive Drumming (Za-Boom-Ba) with Kenya Masala
1:30 – 2:30pm Vegetarian Potluck Lunch

Please join us at any point during the day.

We are holding this free event to raise awareness for the Amplify Austin “I Live Here, I Give Here” fundraising campaign. Every donation you give to The Amala Foundation through Amplify Austin (from 7:00pm on March 4th to 7:00pm on March 5th) will be returned to us x1.3. For every Dollar donated we will receive $1.30.

Even if you can’t donate you can still support us. There is a $5,000 gift given to the organization whose community creates the most support pages. When our donation page goes live on February 28th, you can sign up as a volunteer fundraiser and make your own support page. There is also another $5,000 gift given to the organization with the most donors. So even if you can only donate $1 that will count for getting us towards that gift.

But don’t donate yet! Support pages can only be created after February 28th and donations for this cause only count if they are given between 7:00pm on March 4th and 7:00pm on March 5th. We will send out reminders as the date approaches.
