The Amala Foundation unites people from all walks of life and inspires them to grow as individuals and as leaders in service to humanity. Founded in 2001, Amala has grown to offer programs in 5 countries and 4 states, serving over 3,000 youth from 50 countries and creating meaningful volunteer opportunities for over 2,500 people. Our programs are open to all youth, regardless of their ability to pay. We rely on the generous support of our community to ensure that no one is turned away who wishes to attend.

Sunday, March 2, 2014. The Communal Healing Project is a fundraising event for the Amala Foundation's programs for at risk youth. Andrea Cortez, music therapist and angel harp practitioner, will be providing healing and soothing sounds on the harp to harmonize your body and spirit.

Saturday December 14th, 2013. Global Roots - Benefit Concert, plus Soup n' Juice Healing Party. Sponsored by Alama Foundation. An evening of Music, Community, Healing and FUN!! With seven renowned Austin bands and performers! Your support means everything! Please join us for this festive evening.

Friday, September 20th, 2013. Presented by the Amala Foundation. In celebration of International Peace Day, two Austin-based organizations are teaming up to put on a Concert for Peace. Amala Foundation is a humanitarian organization assisting local and international youth. Wobeon World Beat is a music company focused on promoting global music in Austin & globally, which also created Austin’s first major World Music festival – Wobeon Fest.

Sunday October 27th, 2013 - All Proceeds from this event will benefit the Amala Foundation's youth programs. South Africa in South Austin! Join us for a tasting of South Africa’s finest wines and authentic South African BBQ (Braai). Unlimited wine tasting and BBQ for only $20.

August 12th thru 18th, 2013 Presented by the Amala Foundation. The Amala Foundation is grateful to announce The7th Annual Global Youth Peace Summit. We feel incredibly blessed for the opportunity to come together again in such a rare and powerful way.

Friday June 7th, 2013. Benefiting The Amala Foundation. Come experience a wide range of healing modalities - all under one roof! The Communal Healing Project seeks to heighten awareness of the healing alternatives in our beautiful community by offering dozens of healing modalities for a small donation.

Thursday March 28th, 2013 with Vanessa. The Alchemy of Flowers will explore the medicinal qualities of flowers and plants. Vanessa will share about the alchemy of working with and relating to the vital elements of nature. The energetics of plant medicine will be transmitted, and the devotional use of essential oils may be touched upon and experienced as well.

Saturday March 2, 2013. We'd like to invite you to join us for a day of crafts and music at the Amala Foundation to help raise awareness of Amplify Austin. There is no charge for the event. For kids of all ages!

June 2013. Camp Indigo, now in its 13th year, is a week-long day camp that offers exciting and creative opportunities for children ages 4 – 12 to express themselves and explore their world.

Monday, February 4, 2013 - Community Giving Day Benefiting the Amala Foundation. In our efforts to raise funds for our youth programs, we have developed One Business Community Giving Days. On these days, a local business donates a percentage of their proceeds in exchange for us promoting them and sending our community their way.

Saturday December 8th, 2012. The Amala Foundation and Empower Art present ART WITH HEART, an evening featuring local art, music, spoken word... and community! This benefit will help support the youth programs of the Amala Foundation and Empower Art as well as a joint mural project that will take place in late December.

October 13th and November 17th, 2012 - Young Artists in Service presents the...Global Youth Art Exchange presented by Amala Foundation. We are pleased to announce that the space and intention we hold for Camp Indigo will be offered throughout the year starting with this dynamic program held in October and November.

Fall 2012 Austin. The Apprenticeship Program in Energetic Healing with Vanessa Stone offers a hands-on, in-depth course of study in energetics, healing through the heart of God, and personal evolution. Participants will be immersed in their own healing journey while learning advanced energetic and spiritual healing modalities. Through experiential learning and contemplative inquiry, class time with Vanessa offers a sacred environment in which to explore and connect to the innate source of healing within.

On Saturday, June 16, 2012 we're having a yard sale to benefit the 6th Annual Global Youth Peace Summit and you're invited! Our goal is to sponsor 5 youth to attend this year's Summit. We Are Accepting Donated Items - Drop Off - June 13th, 14th and 15th, 10am-5pm, at the Amala Foundation.

A Truly Unique Austin Summer Camp - Offering two separate week-long sessions of Camp Indigo, July 9-13 and July 16-20. Camp Indigo, now in its 12th year, is a week-long Summer camp that offers exciting and creative opportunities for children ages 4 – 12 to express themselves and explore their world. Camp Indigo promotes increased confidence, clear communication and a high level of respect for the self and others. Some of this year’s summer camp offerings will include music-making, movement, yoga, art, gardening, and song-writing.

Live For The Soul is the first published collection of teachings from Vanessa Stone. Excerpted from journal entries written in retreat settings, this book is offered in the spirit of contemplation, with profound insights speaking directly to the human heart. "This is an invitation to deepen into the heart of Living, to return to what is essential: to redefine the purpose of this Life and realize the gift within this human experience."
