Vanessa is returning from her service and travels in India and Croatia for this gathering inspired, full and ready to share at this intimate Residential Retreat.
Thrive Austin will be an all-day event on November 11, 2011, (11-11-11) dedicated to uplifting the people and city of Austin. Austin Thrive FestivalThrive Austin will feature an amazing line-up of local performers including Rattletree marimba, Atash, The Djembabes, Minor Mishap Marching Band and more. There will also be lectures and workshops from leaders in the sustainability field. Over 50 local business and organizations will be sampling their goods and services. Thrive Austin is a partnership between The Amala Foundation, The Sustainable Living Roadshow and Go Local Austin. Proceeds from the event will help support the youth programs of the Amala Foundation which benefit local, refugee and immigrant youth in Austin.
On July 22nd, 6pm – 9pm, Nectar Boutique, Origin Magazine and Go Local Austin are sponsoring I Heart Local, an event featuring local art, local music, local businesses, and global community. All proceeds will benefit the Global Youth Peace Summit. This benefit will take place at the Amala Foundation and include an Art show featuring some of Austin’s most talented artists as well as music by Rattletree Marimba. Tickets are $10 at the door.

All sales support the Amala Foundation and our efforts to sustain and grow our programs.
