The Astrological Society of Austin Presents….Astrological Perspectives 2012 – A Multi-Disciplinary Panel Approach to the Year Ahead.
Friday, January 20th, 2012 – New Location in South Austin
This year we will present a panel of five astrologers to review the year ahead through the lens of five different astrological disciplines and perspectives. And no, we won’t be predicting a Mayan end game!
This popular event is a helpful planning experience offering a wonderful snapshot of the year ahead, helpful for astrologers and non-astrologers alike. This is a great opportunity to bring friends to our gathering.
Each panelist will give a fifteen to twenty minute presentation informed by a particular astrological discipline. We are pleased to have an abundance of talent and scholarship in our organization and are proud to present a panel of great speakers who are also members of the Astrological Society of Austin.
Our ASA 2012 predictions panel includes Naomi Bennett (Mundane and Financial Outlook), Anne Beversdorf (Vedic), Michele Debs (Through a Medieval Lens) and Donna Woodwell (Initiatory Mystical Venusian Tricksterism).
Christina Depperschmidt will wrap it up with a challenge to astrologers to mine the archetypal blessings in the year ahead, using the sacred wisdom of the Magi’s to imagine and create a better world. Do bring a notebook and a friend!

NEW LOCATION!!! The 2012 Predictions Panel on January 20th will be our first event in our new meeting home at the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in South Austin. We will meet in Building E. There is plenty of free parking. The new location is near Central Market south.

The Astrological Society of Austin (ASA) is a volunteer-driven not for profit organization dedicated to promoting the study of the ancient wisdom science of astrology in Central Texas. The ASA hosts monthly lectures, quarterly educational workshops, retreats and social events. Annual dues are $25. Members receive discounted lecture, event, retreat and workshop admissions.
