Nature’s Treasures is honored to host Internationally Acclaimed Gong Master and Kundalini Yoga Master, Don Conreaux, on his first visit to Austin, Texas for an amazing concert series. He’ll be accompanied by several musicians on tour with him as well as a few musicians from Austin.
Don Conreaux is traveling to more than 10 countries to offer “The Way of the Gong.” He is internationally recognized as a leading artist and musician, as well as a pioneer in the field of holistic sound healing through the use of gongs.
About the Gong
The existence of the gong dates back to the Bronze Age, around 3500 BC and has been used for thousands of years in meditation, healing, ceremony and rituals.
According to Don, “gong therapy is bathing in total sound. The sound erases all other sounds around you and you are just in this ocean of rolling waves and layers of tones.
“The tones go right through the body. They affect you on a mental level, an emotional level, a spiritual level, and they cleanse you as they form a purification, which just washes away any worries or cares, and often obstacles that stand in your way of clarity and creativity.”

More About Don Conreaux
Don began his spiritual quest with yoga and meditation in 1952 and in 1969 became one of the five original Kundalini Yoga Teachers trained by Yogi Bhajan, when he fell in love with the gong. A recognized master teacher in the art and science of the gong, Don also studied the gong writings of Dane Rudhyar, one of the twentieth century’s great humanistic astrologers.
Gong Master Don Conreaux is known not only as a distinctive artist and musician, but also as a pioneer in the field of sound therapy. Don has a Masters in Theater and has appeared on numerous television and radio programs as a performing artist and talk show guest and worked as an actor, writer and director. With 55 years of experience working with yoga and sound, Don teaches his own method called Gong Yoga. Creator of the teachings on The Way of the Gong, the Gong Bath and International Gong Master Training, Don also originated Starhenge World Peace Bell Gardens and is the founder of the musical group Mysterious Tremendum.
