“The highest goal of music is to connect one’s soul to their Divine Nature.”– Pythagoras (569-475 BC)
Sound and music are nutrients for the nervous system and the soul.
Come join us for an evening of therapeutic group drumming and sonic immersion.
Immerse yourself in the healing, meditative atmosphere of this sonic experience of relaxation, restoration, and realization.
Stress is one of the most common health issues today. Chronic stress can have long-lasting unhealthy consequences—compromising your sleep, your immune system, your physical health, and your emotional well-being. According to the noted cellular biologist, Dr. Bruce Lipton, over 95% of all disease-related ailments in this country are created by stress.
According to research, a one-hour session of therapeutic group drumming can dramatically reduce stress.
No music experience necessary. Drums will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes. Bring yoga mat, blanket, etc.
More About Sonic Immersion
As the name suggests, a sonic immersion (sound bath) saturates participants in soothing sonic resonant frequencies created by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and gongs. The benefits of a sonic immersion are the same as meditation: increased focus and clarity, decreased anxiety, and a heightened capacity for empathy, and more. The difference lies in that all of these benefits can be achieved in your first session! The music of a sonic immersion prepares the mind for meditation and can serve as a shortcut to the deeply relaxed state of mindfulness and meditation.
