Saturday – October 18th and Sunday – October 19th, 2014.
Dr. Zeal Okogeri is traveling through our area and offering a four-part class series.
Please join us for a 4-part sacred workshop on the ancient art of storytelling and its magical healing potentials.
Storytelling is what we do naturally. It’s what our minds do constantly. Your experiences are your stories. Our culture and way of life are a manifestation of centuries of stories. Telling your stories and being sincerely and respectfully heard is a liberating experience; and the simple act of listening to people’s stories, as a dedicated, empathic listener, is an act of personal empowerment.
Nowadays people don’t have time to listen to each other’s stories. We are a society in a hurry, not realizing the healing power of storytelling—the secret of earlier societies.
Telling your stories in our sacred circle is about speaking up, speaking out, being heard, acknowledging ‘what is’ in your life, and letting go. Stories build trust and connect each of us to what we all have in common in this collective experience that we call life. Storytelling is one of the most authentic paths to personal transformation.

Testimonials and Reviews – what others say about Dr. Zeal’s work
“Zeal is not only a master at storytelling, he facilitates a powerful storytelling circle. Holding the sacred space, he observes process and content and weaves them rhythmically into the uniqueness of each person’s story and the circle as a whole. Hearing my own voice tell my story touches a deep spot, having others listen is a rare commodity these days and moves the experience to a deeper level. Thank you for this experience.” – Judith B., Lakewood, CO
“The storytelling workshop with Zeal was fun and enlightening. His great stories are inspiring and he has a gentle way of helping people to use their own stories in a healing way. Zeal is light-hearted and endearing, you will feel safe telling your stories in his workshops.” – Tina, Boulder, CO
