More About This Workshop Series
Hello TCM herbalists and acupuncturists of Austin!
If you have every wanted to become a better TCM herbalist, you must understand details of how each herb and how they work together to create a formula on a deeper level. Going beyond the general practice of “this conditions, that prescription,” so you can modify any prescription to effectively treat many conditions.
We created these 4 small sessions to help acupuncturists and TCM herbalists have a better understand of TCM herbology beyond the general classroom education and apply it to real word experiences.
For the next 4 Saturdays, we will dive into an advanced learning session of TCM herbs and formulas. Each Saturday, we will spend 2-3 hours geared toward understanding herbal chemistry (phytochemistry), real-world applications and a variety of different herbal subjects. This will also give you an opportunity to meet your colleagues from around Austin, share experiences and develop stronger relationships with each other.
Our goal is to give local TCM practitioners and students a community in which to learn, collaborate and advance their training in Chinese herbal medicine.
