Have you ever wanted something so badly, but could not make it happen no matter what you did? Maybe you felt like giving up? Perhaps you prayed and prayed, but wondered: Is anyone listening?
The shamans in Peru have a way of whispering to Spirit, of sending prayers and intentions to the consciousness that gives life to all of the Universe. This spiritual practice, called Despacho, has shifted Kerri Hummingbird’s life in amazing ways and she is excited to share it with you.
During this Andean ceremony we create a beautiful offering of flowers, sweetness from our hearts and gratitude. Into this offering we release all that no longer serves us in our lives—sadness, regret, anger, and any place where I’m sorry and I forgive are needed.
When we release this heaviness, we make space for new possibilities to come into our lives. Into our Despacho offering we also express gratitude for all the gifts that we have already received, truly thanking Spirit for our many blessings and elevating our hearts during the process. Lastly, we place our wishes into the offering: what would bring your heart joy at this time in your life?
To send our wishes to Spirit, we burn this offering at a sacred fire. Spirit responds over the coming weeks and months with synchronicities that lead us to fulfilling our wishes and dreams. Why does Spirit hear our prayers? Because receiving our heart’s desire fills us with joy, and this joy spreads to everyone in our lives, elevating the vibration of the very consciousness that created us. Joy feels good to Spirit!
The new moon is the perfect time to plant our seeds of intention, allowing the expansion of the moon to naturally grow these seeds.
Participating at each new moon keeps your life flowing in ways that bring you joy, reinvigorating your intentions towards larger dreams and planting new seeds as your life’s desires shift.
Led by Kerri Hummingbird Lawnsby, a transformation coach and energy healer whom is currently studying in the Light Body School of the Four Winds Society. Kerri has received the rites of passage directly from shamans in Peru on a sacred journey, as well as from the Four Winds Society. As a Toci Teacher, Kerri is excited to help you to manifest whatever dream of life makes your heart sing!
