We all feel it: the sense that something really big is about ready to unfold.

Our bodies hum with anticipation, while our thoughts and feelings ebb and flow, sometimes calm and sometimes discombobulated.
Our spirits are traversing new territories, with new abilities emerging that can be wonderful and surprising, yet also confusing.
As we stand at the juncture of one of the most important times in human evolution, many of us find that the practices we have used for years no longer work as well.
Where we might once have enjoyed our hour-long yoga, qi gong, or meditation sessions, we may find ourselves resistant and more scattered.
Quantum leaps of change are happening in days that once unfolded over years. So, we need practices that also collapse transformation into bite-sized, accessible moments rather than requiring us to carve out sacred hours we no longer have.
Here is a simple way to know if a practice is helping you to ascend your states to the higher frequencies emerging on the planet and in the cosmos.
Can your practice create a shift in five minutes or less?
Practices aligned with the new frequencies emerging are potent and immediate.
For example, HeartMath Institute discovered that we can synchronize the electromagnetic waves of our hearts and brains to a state of coherence, closer to the frequencies we generate when we are in deep meditation, by breathing at a rate of six breaths per minute.
Let’s do that now. Set a timer for 3 minutes.
Breathe out for six counts, then inhale for four counts until your timer rings.
What did you notice as you performed this reset?
Often people struggle to keep the breath count the first minute, especially if the day is hectic. Yet by the third minute, a softening of tension and subtle shift of our nervous system occurs.
You can engage this reset while standing in line at the grocery store. Or while safely stopped at a red light. It is a simple practice optimized for the density of change in our lives, accessible anytime and at any moment.
Is your practice accessible in the flow of everyday life?
Practices aligned with ascension emphasize integration into ordinary activities and life flow, like the breathwork we just did.
That’s not to say that we need to abandon our longer practices. When your longer practices are informed by a higher state of energy that you’ve cultivated throughout the day in short spurts, they deepen.
I noticed that my cosmic tour bagua practice deepened and led me into profound metaphysical insights about the changes unfolding on the planet and beyond, as I recommitted myself to my short resets during the day.
So, I feel more rooted, calm, and stronger in my internal power than I have ever felt in my life, despite the chaotic changes in our world.
Does it create a field that ripples outward to impact others?
We have all experienced that settled feeling of joy and ease when we encounter a stranger who is deeply grounded and aligned. We linger in a shared smile or a short conversation that leaves us feeling uplifted and more connected to our own essence and power.
Think about the last time you encountered someone who unexpectedly lit you up with joy. Let that memory flow through you now.
When we realign ourselves with practices that naturally activate our heart energies as a natural part of moving through the day, we become beacons of higher-frequency energy that create mini transformations for others who come into our orbit.
It creates mutuality as their transformation and energy bounce back to us to inspire a deepening of our cultivation.
It creates a hum of social joy that counters friction and conflict, so that we effortlessly align with other like-spirited humans in micro moments that then fuel the times when we have more time to engage and spend time with others.
It suddenly makes that quick email, brief chat, or nod at the grocery store more meaningful.
It’s an amazing time to be alive. When we choose practices that emphasize coherence and naturalness, we stop struggling to understand the cosmic shifts and begin to embrace the not-knowing from a deeply rooted and coherent space, one that evolves with us as we flow deeper into the new energies.
