Celebrate the end of another 260 day “Tzolkin” round and experience a traditional Maya Fire ceremony facilitated by Carlos Cedillo, a Sun Priest, or “Daykeeper” of the Sacred Maya calendar.
Carlos will teach us about the authentic Maya calendar. He has traveled extensively in Mexico, Guatemala and Belize exploring pyramids and doing Sacred ceremonies with Tata Don Alejandro Oxlaj, “Wandering Wolf” the Grand Elder of the living Maya people.
Please bring offerings for the fire including, flower petals, Copal, incense, herbs, sweet grass, rosemary, sage, lavendar, sunflower seeds, loose tobacco, etc… also acoustic instruments to play around the fire at the end of the ceremony. No Amps.
