Rare Mayan Rubbings Exhibit & Silent Auction at Unity of the Hills
In 1970, the Mexican Government passed a law forbidding the creation of new Mayan temple rubbings. UCOH congregant, Mills Spangberg, purchased 67 of these rare rubbings in the ‘70s, and has donated them to UCOH.
Several of the rubbings are on exhibit in Friendship Hall, and photos of the remainder are in a catalog next to the exhibit. You have a truly unique opportunity to purchase these beautiful and amazing historical treasures.
Each rubbing has a corresponding number and bid sheet in the catalog. Minimum bids begin at $30 to $50. Bidding will close on Sunday, October 14, at 1:00 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Church.

No Rosa, I went to their site and looked for more information and didn’t find it….I think you might call the church, but it looks as if you will need to visit the church to see the rubbings…it does sound like a fascinating opportunity…
