The Four Agreements – Always Do Your Best with West Short

This is our last discussion about the Four Agreements in this series, and we will be discussing "Always Do Your Best." I prefer this agreement as a universal truth, rather than an instruction to "do" or "don't do" something. My most current re-write is "Everything you do serves you." This is because everything you do DOES serve you, even if you don't realize it at that time, and whether your judge considers it your "best" or "worst."

Georgetown Area Seekers is hosting discussions about The Four Agreements, a book by don Miguel Ruiz, and specifically how to implement the principles contained in the book to help bring peace to our busy lives.

This month we will discuss "Being Impeccable with Your Word." This is an important agreement because words have power - especially when coupled with intention. Frequently, we use our words in ways that cause suffering and drama - both for us and those around us.

The Four Agreements – A Discussion Group

Georgetown Area Seekers is hosting discussions about The Four Agreements, a book by don Miguel Ruiz, and specifically how to implement the principles contained in the book to help bring peace to our busy lives.

This month we are discussing "Don't Make Assumptions." This is an important agreement because assumptions are where we create stories and explanations around events that we don't understand, which we then emotionally react to, which leads to drama and suffering, mostly for us.
