Learn how to optimize health and relieve energetic and structural tension through the skeletal system! Zero Balancing I is a 25-hour course in this fantastic hands-on therapy that works with the core structure and energy of the body.

Zero Balancing’s Co-founder, Dr. Fritz Smith, has had training as an Osteopathic MD, Rolfer, Master’s of Acupuncture, and meditation through, particularly, Swami Muktananda. David Lauterstein, the teacher of this course, has been practicing Zero Balancing since 1986 and teaching ZB and Deep Massage for over 25 years in the U.S., Costa Rica, and England.

In this course, you will learn the first level of anatomical and energetic theory of Zero Balancing and a hands-on protocol that you can put into practice immediately.

To become a “Certified Practitioner” requires a prior healthcare license (e.g., massage, acupuncture, medical license, etc.) and a total of 4 courses (which we are providing this year at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School).

About David Lauterstein
I’ve been fascinated and practiced Zero Balancing since 1986. As a massage therapist/bodyworker, I found myself, nearly 40 years ago, feeling like, having studied a variant of Rolfing, craniosacral work, shiatsu, and many forms of massage and movement, there was yet something I just wasn’t touching! When I first heard Fritz Smith talk, he talked about the anatomical layers in us conveying each a characteristic energy – skin, muscle, and bone; each plays different roles in our lives. The skeletal system, being the deepest, conveys the deepest energy flows. I realizes this was the missing piece in my work – what we feel and know in our bones. Zero Balancing is the only therapy that explicitly gives one the knowledge and practical skills to address this layer of the person, structurally and energetically.

David Lauterstein is the author of 5 books on massage and bodywork, among them the recently published, “The Memory Palace of Bones: Exploring Embodiment through the Skeletal System,” co-authored with Dr. Jeff Rockwell, DC.
