Georgetown Area Seekers is hosting discussions about The Four Agreements, a book by don Miguel Ruiz, and specifically how to implement the principles contained in the book to help bring peace to our busy lives.
This month we are discussing "Don't Make Assumptions." This is an important agreement because assumptions are where we create stories and explanations around events that we don't understand, which we then emotionally react to, which leads to drama and suffering, mostly for us.

The Winter Solstice marks the darkest time of the year, the longest night and shortest day. It is the time when the cold grip of Winter is broken and the new year dawns - a time of rebirth and new beginnings. As such, it has held a special significance since before recorded history.
Come join us for this special journey circle! Bring a candle if you like, or something symbolic of the time for you to place on the altar. Consider also your intention or vision for the coming year, which you may share or that might be the focus of your journey.

Darshan is free but reservations are required. Note that even if you have registered at some other time, you must make a new reservation for this new tour.
You may attend only one Darshan session on this tour. When making reservations for multiple people please make a different reservation for each person who will be attending - for example, couples should make two reservations.

We will be hosting a 1 day silent meditation retreat in the non-dual tradition at our house. Requirements for attending are that you come on time, stay for the entire retreat, and agree to silence for the entire day until we debrief at the end of the day. Svoboda was the first Westerner to be licensed to practice Ayurveda in India, and has written or co written 11 books, including the best-selling Prakriti. He has spent the last three decades traveling the world, sharing his wisdom on Ayurveda, yoga, tantra, and Vedic astrology. Recently, to the surprise of many, Svoboda, 57, announced that he'll be retiring from public speaking.

The Spirit Paths™ program is a 5-month series of workshops and bi-weekly evening sessions designed to help you to change your way of living and being in the world - a powerful, experiential process of learning to live authentically.

November 28, 2010 - Submitted by Gabriella Espinosa - Many opportunities for Pure Soul Alchemy Group sessions coming up. My intention for these group clearing sessions is "out with the old - in with the new" before the new year. We are having a group session on the Winter Solstice as well. It will be especially powerful.
Pure Soul Alchemy is a channeled energetic field where transformative operations and procedures are enacted for you individually and as a group. Astrologer and acupuncturist Will Morris will present a unique and practical perspective on the use of the astrological chart to focus healing procedures on the body. Drawing from many classical astrological traditions that include Early Greek, Medieval, Renaissance, Ayurvedic and Chinese forms of astro-medicine, Morris will define and explain the importance of the humoral substances in health.
